Changelog

Follow new updates and improvements to PB Vision.

July 21st, 2026

This update introduces social-ready clip creation in the iOS app, sharper library previews, video downloads for Starter members, faster initial loading, and several improvements that make it easier to understand and review your recordings.

But first, here’s what you can expect for the rest of the year.

Landing in August:

  • Video bookmarks and on-video drawing + stickers

  • Android clip exports

  • Direct to Instagram sharing

  • Apple Watch app

  • Background video compression and uploads on iPhone

Our priorities for the rest of the year include:

  • Profile refresh: A more compelling, social player profile inspired by apps like Strava.

  • New skill ratings: Six data-backed skills, predictive stats, and drill-down tools that explain your rating and how to improve it.

  • In-app AI assistant: Ask questions, analyze multiple games, and receive suggestions linked directly to relevant shots.

  • Drill analysis: Review practice sessions such as serves and drops, with dead time removed and trajectories and success stats summarized.

Now, on to what’s new —

🎬 Create and Share Clips from the iOS App

Turn your favorite PB Vision moments into clips you can save and share.

Choose a highlight or a selection of shots, then export it in the format that works best for where you plan to share it:

  • Full frame for preserving the complete court view

  • Vertical 9:16 for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts

  • Square 1:1 for feeds, messages, and other social posts

For vertical and square clips, PB Vision automatically follows the action to help keep the ball and players in view.

Your finished clip saves directly to Photos on your iPhone. From there, you can share it through Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Messages, or any other app you normally use.

Clip creation is currently available through the PB Vision iOS app. Direct to Instagram posting and Android clip exports are in progress (ETA August).

🖼️ Sharper Library Previews

Newly analyzed videos receive sharper library thumbnails. On desktop, hover over a video to see a short looping preview and quickly identify the game or moment you are looking for.

⬇️ Video Downloads Are Now Included with Starter

Starter members can now download their original videos directly from PB Vision. This makes it easier to keep a local copy, move a recording to another device, or use the original footage in another editing or coaching workflow.

🎯 More Precise Playback and Shot Review

We have continued refining the new video player introduced in our previous update.

Improved Jog Wheel

The jog wheel has been refined across mobile and desktop to make precise scrubbing feel smoother and more predictable. Use it to move slowly through contact points, footwork, paddle position, and other details that can be difficult to see at normal speed.

Follow the Current Shot in 3D

When reviewing shots in Shot Explorer, the 3D trajectory view now visually emphasizes the shot that is currently playing.

🏓 Explore the Refreshed Demo Gallery

If you are introducing someone to PB Vision—or simply want to explore a strong example before uploading a recording—the gallery is an easy way to see the player, game statistics, Shot Explorer, and other analysis tools in action.
