Movement, posture, and paddle tracking

Introduce player movement and posture tracking to assess performance quality beyond shot execution. This would include:

  • A stability metric at the moment of each shot to evaluate how “on balance” a player is when hitting.

  • Split step timing, measured relative to the opponent’s shot and ball location.

  • Paddle tracking, including:

    • Detection of paddle in a “ready position”

    • Paddle height throughout the rally

These metrics could be correlated with shot success and point outcomes to identify patterns in high-performing movement habits and readiness.
