I accidentally sent this to the feedback route but I think this should be on here as a feature request. This is different from the on-device processing feature request, since that seems completely impractical given the processing power of phones and the vast majority of phones you’d need to test it on.
Rather than supporting on-device processing, please allow a way to process offline on a local GPU. This could be just a matter of providing a container that can process and upload the processed data, or a separate UI that would synchronize with the main pbvision. It appears pbvision is using GCP spot pricing, and this results in messages that the demand is too high and that it could take as long as 24 hours to process. If instead a user could process on their own machines not only would it alleviate server demand, but it could potentially lower the prices for plans since there wouldn’t be any cost for cloud usage. As it is, I don’t know if the $99-$400/yr price can be justified with having delays from the public cloud.
I would be happy to test this feature. Thanks!
