Be able to chart out the following:

FH drop % (of total 3rds)

BH drop %

FH drive %

BH drive %

Against kitchen arrival % when hitting those types of 3rds. It would allow us to see for example that maybe the FH drop % is 60% but successful arrivals at the kitchen after that type of third is only 20%. Maybe my FH drive % is only 15% but I successfully got to the kitchen 100% of those shots so I should maybe increase my drive % and see if I get to the kitchen more often.

These are the types of trends and insights that could immediately make an impact on shot selection or understanding what is or isn't working

    It’s completed @NYC Pickleball You can then derive insights like: "Player uses forehand drives for 15% of their third shots, and 80% of those result in successful kitchen arrival for their team."

    Check the Excel export for games uploaded sometime next week and you will see the entries. These new stats should have what you need to compute the ratio. Let me know if it’s helpful :)

    • third_drive_bh_percentage: The percentage of backhand third shot drives out of all third shots attempted by the player.

    • third_drive_bh_kitchen_arrival: The percentage of backhand third shot drives where the player's team successfully arrived at the kitchen.

    • third_drive_fh_percentage: The percentage of forehand third shot drives out of all third shots attempted by the player.

    • third_drive_fh_with_kitchen_arrival: The percentage of forehand third shot drives where the player's team successfully arrived at the kitchen.

    • third_drop_bh_percentage: The percentage of backhand third shot drops out of all third shots attempted by the player.

    • third_drop_bh_with_kitchen_arrival: The percentage of backhand third shot drops where the player's team successfully arrived at the kitchen.

    • third_drop_fh_with_percentage: The percentage of forehand third shot drops out of all third shots attempted by the player.

    • third_drop_fh_with_kitchen_arrival: The percentage of forehand third shot drops where the player's team successfully arrived at the kitchen.

    @NYC Pickleball I'm definitely adding that to my backlog. Probably by mid-next week we should have that data available for download (in that Excel file format so you can check it across games). Need to improve our drop vs. drive a bit more to get it just right
